Here's the skinny, cats.
I'd like to see as many fully formed sentences as possible based entirely on acronyms. I demand that each acronym be in circulation already. No starting a new trend (or trying to) just to get that fly last word or two in. It'd be nice to see some kind of conversation take place, but since I won't be contributing to maintain my neutrality as judge and jury, alpha and omega, just go wild. The winner will get an arbitrary prize. |
Ummm, I didn't quite get it. I know what an acronym is, but I still wonder how this is supposed to work.
|
NOUN:
A word formed from the initial letters of a name, such as WAC for Women's Army Corps, or by combining initial letters or parts of a series of words, such as radar for radio detecting and ranging. |
Yesyes I said I know what an acronym is, but I stll wonder how this game is supposed to work. Could you explain in plain text how, please?
|
Ahhh, gotcha. Just in time, too. I was about to log and go to do something.
I'm looking for sentences that are made up entirely of acronyms. eg. PMFJI LOL(<-----"lol") Pardon me for jumping in lots of love. WAC HAGO FYA Women's Army Corp Have A Good One For Your Amusement. All sentences will be ranked on such criteria as number of acronyms used, clarity of complete sentence and whatever else I decide on. HTH, IOH. |
Ah, I see. Thanks. You mean something like this
http://www.abandonia.com/forum/index...howtopic=14883 only as a competition. Ok, I get you :ok: |
Right. But using the original definitions and schlopping them together.
Can't say anybody's gonna beat me now that my neutrality's compromised, that WAC one is, imho, pure solid gold genius. |
IMHO, STFU ASAP!
Whould this work? (BTW, nothing personal, just couldn't think of a better sentence at the moment). |
Geez, I was moments away from just giving myself the prize.
Now Sebastianos takes the lead for having the only entry that's not sleeping with the judge. Surprisingly tricky, eh? |
