I am searching for this game since days.. You can get it from underdogs but that copy does not work properly in dosbox. Please find a version that perfectly works.

You can see the game here: http://www.the-underdogs.info/game.php?id=1639

I found two versions on Mobygames. One by Microids (Windows) and another by Philips Media France (DOS). Both 1996 releases. Couldn't find any of them on the OWL. Can anyone verify this title's status?

Microids is the developer and Philips Media is the publisher

Other way around. Developed by PMF and published by M and PMF, according to Mobygames

Neither company figures on my ESA member/subsidiary list. Can someone run a check into their profiles on Moby, HOTU and Wikipedia to verify that?

how? i have never seen an information a company about being an esa member or not on one of the sites
btw if you look in to oldwarez, games published by microïds, 'super ski 3' was released in 94 and its abandonware

Of course not. However, if a company is acquired by another one, there will likely be information about that.

Quote:

In March 2005 Ubisoft acquired MC2-Microïds (Microïds Canada) and integrated it into Ubisoft's Montreal studios [4]. This deal only consisted of MC2-Microïds fifty employees and technical equipment and did contain any Intellectual property[5].Following the Ubisoft/MC2 deal, Microïds would no longer be developing games, and would simply continue as a game publisher.[/b]
Microids therefore is an ESA subsidiary, so the game is under 10-year protection period. This, fortunately, expired at the beginning of current year.
