so...my mom mistook the CDs I asked her to bought and instead of common CDR 700MB/80min she bought "Extra Space" ones - 800MB/90min.

Sadly, my laptop doesn't "see" this extra space thing and recognize it as normal 700MB. (I'm burning with CDRoxio, I don't have DVDrecorder  )
What can I do? :|

I never used CDRoxio, but with Nero, You need to use overburning.
In options menu there was an option to set up the maximum overburning size - it should be set to CD capacity (800MB/90 min). When the program warns about using extra space, You just click overburn and it is all.

Best thing is to simulate before writing (there should be that kind of option). Recorder can damage if something goes wrong :whistling:
I noticed that not every CD-rom/DVD-rom recognizes these bigger CD's. Some can not read anything from these kind of CD's. I do not use too often ... :not_ok:

ok, so I should find a Nero trial version now...(which is not easy, cause I'm loosing my net connection a lot now....Thank you Telecomunication Poland :/ )

You can try to look for that kind of options in Your recording program. I believe it is there somewhere. Some kind of manual or other documentation could help.
