Gigabyte motherboards - are they any good? Does anyone have experience with them?
|
I had one. It was good, for a time. About a month ago it started to reset all the time (CPU temperature tester broke, and it showed 85'C right after boot). It was her first problem.
Mainboard was fine for about 6 years, so I believe I'll buy one more Gigabyte one day :D Currently - out of money, so I use MSI from second-hand. |
Gigabyte is a quite good brand on the whole. Not just on mainboards.
But I think their main business are graphic-cards. |
Sincerely I don't like Gigabyte: it does great board but the motherboards are shipped always with conservative settings. You can tweak that by yourself later, sure, but if you need the latest tech, a cutting-edge motherboard, ASUS (or latest Abit too) still rocks in the market.

Well i already bought the Gigabyte board and i'm pleased with it so far.
Abit are the best though. |
