Does anybody know how to upgrade drivers for this card. Nvidia doesn't have drivers for the go 6 series. And Sony didn't update drivers since May 2005...
I heard that one could use omega drivers. But am absolutely not sure about this...

Mighty Midget 06-11-2006 03:39 PM

What's the latest driver you got? And what os? XP?

DonCorleone 06-11-2006 03:45 PM

My Os is Win XP SP2. My latest driver seems to be 5.44.02.09.28
I nearly looked everywhere for an original driver. But couldn't find one anywhere...

Look at this (v. 7.8.0.1) http://www.versiontracker.com/dyn/moreinfo/win/50571

Ahh... I mixed up video-bios version with driver version. Actually I have v. 7.0.8.6...

Well, it seems that unless it wasn't a typo (did you mean 7.8.0.6?), I'm stuck too. Sorry.

DonCorleone 06-11-2006 04:13 PM

Uhm...no, it wasn't a typo. I guess I need some sleep :wallbash: . So I will have a look on this driver. Thx a lot so far :kosta:

EDIT: I don't think that's the right one. Versiontracker led me to nvidia. And there the drivers called ForceWare 78.01. Have a Look Please! What do you think?

Mighty Midget 06-11-2006 04:39 PM

Put that on hold. In the mean time:

http://www.3dchipset.com/drivers/nvidia/of...al/nt5/9147.php

Read the release note, pg 50. It supports a number of 6200 cards, but I'm not sure about that "go".

DonCorleone 07-11-2006 02:42 PM

No, it doesn't support the go cards I fear. Well, so there doesn't seem to be any newer drivers...
Actually, the only reason why I want to update is that if I move several files via mouse e.g. into winamp, it leaves some black marks. And these disappear only if I reload the desktop... maybe I have to look for another solution. Thanks for your help anyway! :kosta:
