http://www.runescape.net

try it, i think you will like it. you will need to go through the tutorial part first (takes about 10 minutes) but ! its worth it. you actully play with other people online, if you have ever played morrow wind and liked it then you will love this. trust me on this, Go and try it. once you get past the tutorial, the game its self is awsome.

You need to pay for it after a while, right?

:hysterical:

Srry, 'bout that, but it's mindless - like, kids spend their allowances to play this sh1t at i-net cafe's to lvl-up (WOW) their friggin' "woodcutting". This is purely the CRAPPIEST, game evar.

Anywayz, nty, cuz D2 already rots my mind (atleast it's worth it LOL)...

I don't like Runescape. It has potential, but it gets repetitive after a while, and the graphics suck, and the interface sucks, and the controls suck, and also it would be far better if it was client-based. And on top of that it ultimately suffers the same fatal flaw as almost every other commercial MMORPG does - once you reach a high level, there's nothing left to do and you find yourself wandering aimlessly, maybe trading a few things here and there, essentially using it as a sort of advanced habbo hotel, until you get so bored you just pack it in and play another game.

Runescape always has been and always will be the worst MMO ever.

I thought it was www.runescape.com ?

Anyway, you can continue to play for free, but the number of quests, skills and lands available to non-members are limited. Like someone else said, it can be pretty darn repetitive (think along the lines of killing hundreds and hundreds of monsters for hours and hours and hours to level up 320,000 experience points to get from level 86str to level 87 str. etc)

For members, new quests are constantly being released, new lands and places are developed for exploration, new NPC created for interaction and game-play. There are updates every month. The latest server upgrade allows for faster loading times but non-members worlds are still laggy.

Players have been known to be blatantly imbecile, but due to bad words springing forth like a fountain from players in the past, the staff has introduced a word filter, so if you type a bad word, all everyone will see is just tiny asterisk signs.

I used to love the game for the first few months. And then I suddenly lost interest. Nowadays I just go back once in awhile during holiday seasons cos they tend to have special drops on occasions. Haha.

Runescape is awful. I'll just stick with EVE Online, thanks.

I was recommended this game once by a friend who played it like all day. I started playing and got distracted by a popup add halfway through the tutorial. And I was about 9 at the time. That's how boring this game is. Now lets never speak of it again.

I clap for the mind control this game emits, but it's always tedious.. working for something you'll never reach.
Someone told me I should make an account and then sell it later. now thats something I can be thankful for,
a refund.

I've got to many old and new games to waste time with MMORPGs. Even if they start out as free you still pay in the end. MMORPGs are the crack cocaine of the internet.
