Many dos games, namly FPS's (Doom, Wolf3d, Duke3d) had the ability to be modded ( modifying the games source and graphics to create a new game/add-on). It would be nice to have a mod section for different DOS ganes.
DAMN SCHOOL PUTERS, this gay space bar won'twork. |
You're school has a "gay space bar".. ?
What kind of drinks can you order there ?!? :D :bleh: Agree on the mod section, though I'll probably not contribute a lot, just leech..! |

- mods most of the time already have a dedicated development forum (not here, but at their homepage.) When you have technical questions about the mod you better go there. - mods can be discussed already in either the game thread in the Abandonia Games section or the Favorite Oldies section. - creating a dedicated forum for mods would be a dead section, even more dead than the technical discussion forum now is. |
I think that mods would be nice but the option to download them should be on the game's page (with the review) under extras with a link to the homepage of that particular mod. I agree there should not be a forum dedicated to mods as not many of us know much about mods.

Yea I was more thinking of a downloads section for mods, not a forum section
|
Yeah, and when I said 'yes' for mods, I said for games, not for forum!
