For all those newbies. I was afraid.. Very afraid of DOSBox. But Last week I downloaded it And I don't know how I was living without it. It used to take me hours to get a game running right. Now in minutes games are running great. :max:

This would've been less spammy if you had some form of advice other than "OMG DOSbox is easy peasy!"
|
definetly. I used an older laptop for a while (dos compatable) but once I got Dosbox it was great. If anyone is still sceptical just read Anubis' guide. Its great. :ok:

Thank you for the information.
It's something different then the avarage troubleshooting thread in which they don't understand how to use it. |
Thanks Data and I was thinking the same thing Bobbin..."spammy?" But I figured it would give any newbies or lurlers a new thread to post any questions about DOSBox or let those know about it who still don't. When I first came to the site I didn't know about DOSBox till I posted a technical queston. Then everyone said DOSBox.... However I didn't listen.... I am sure I'm not the only one who was/is afraid of software..LOL
With the help of DOSBox I am even working on my second review. :D |
I wasn't afraid... though a bit reclutant at first. But, since my 486 rig gave its electronic life a few months before and I so wanted to play my oldies again... I went for it. :D
