Why not ask a company, for example LucasArts, if you can put one of their games up on a site? :D
I'm waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay ahead of you.
I have regular contact with some game producers, where we are discussing just this. BUT I stay clear of both Sierra and LucasArts because I know they would sue my ass for just asking. :ranting: |
Yeah, some companies are just stubborn, greedy and closed to any reason...
Some companies need to lighten up.
how true
Lucasarts are the most stubborn :ranting: :ranting: :ranting: :ranting: :ranting: :ranting: :ranting: :ranting: ever |
They are just protecting their games from "black market". Don't think I defend them, I'm just realistic.
BTW where's suggestion 3? |
I suppose I could understand it when it comes to sierra and lucasarts and the other big companies. They are the leaders in old dos games after all. They can't just give games away for free I suppose.
Yes, but many Lucasarts games are not avalible to buy either (outside of the USA), if the games were avalible for sale in the shops I don't think any of us would be unhappy but it is now almost impossible to get your hands on some games without resorting to war.ez.
Aren't all of lucasarts games for sale on their website?
I believe so, but many of them are only avalible in the US (they won't ship to Europe).
