I had some problems with graphics card and DirectX on my machine... well, the attempts to remove and subsequently reinstall DX from scratch have failed miserably. The current state of my DirectX drivers can be decribed as one big bloody mess.
Is there anything I could do to get this stuff fixed WIHTOUT reinstalling Windows? |

DXE happens to be one of the tools that caused the current situation...

maybe it's little annoyng, but have you tried running dxdiag and deleting all the files written down in list manually?
|
Didn't think of that. I'll try and see.

I would like to say that my old pc had stuffed direct x I delteted all the direct x files dis somthing else reinstalled the latest version and it was fixed.

Format and reinstall? :tomato:
I really hope you won't have to get to that point. ;) |
DirectX can be annoying when it gets currupt.

I DEMAND... No, not your head on a silver platter... nor your flayed skin (altough it's quite amusing to consider)... Just an apology. For suggesting things that can screw up someone else's machine. Thanks to you, I had to endure 5 days of prolonged weekend (weekend + 3 days of local celebrations) without access to my computer. And here I was so hoping that I read some mangas, watch anime, and - of course - play games. Grrumble. |
sorry but :tomato:
i thought that you want to delete directX files from the list, not windows drivers and dlls  :tomato: |
