Shady Yashy 15-01-2006 07:56 AM

As the Maximum Answers allowed is 30, I cut out many sports. The most famous ones are only there. If your Favourite Sport is not up in the Poll, please post telling it.

Don Andy 15-01-2006 08:04 AM

Another poll, made by Shady Yashy, will it ever end? ;)

You should've added "None of the above" since I don't like any sport at all, not even eSports :P

efthimios 15-01-2006 08:06 AM

Football (soccer), with basketball and F1 are my top as a spectator. Playing, basketball, kart, video games.

Shady Yashy 15-01-2006 08:12 AM

Don't worry. I ain't planning on posting any more polls. Theres a limit for everything. I just put in these cause there arent much Polls. :D

Pool.

Blizzard08 15-01-2006 01:11 PM

I'm for soccer. Boy, I love this game!
Then there is volley, tennis and F1... But always socer ahead.

Eagle of Fire 15-01-2006 01:47 PM

Amazing! Badminton is in the list! :D (where is the :amazed: emoticon gone?)

I was torn apart trying to decide either to vote for Badminton or Hockey... But at the end I thought that while I like to watch it, I never really played Hockey... So Badminton win. :)

Toxik 15-01-2006 02:21 PM

Floorball and of course COUCHING!!!(not sure if this makes any sense in English though...)

Chuck the plant 15-01-2006 03:03 PM

Wrestling. But only up to 1994/95 concerning WWF/WCW. I do go to some independet shows occasionally, though (not much of them around here, though).

Allthough I doubt it should really be considered a "sport"... that might've been the case until the 60s, but since then it really became pure entertainment more and more.

Sebatianos 15-01-2006 03:10 PM

Snooker

TheChosen 15-01-2006 03:45 PM

Wrestling, both watching (not the sporty one) and participating.

I hate other sports, expect bowling.

@Shady Yashy- You remind me of my first days in here, i made a new topic nearly every day.

Monster could be right, but please don't think I'm just a fat, lazy guy. Well, lazy perhaps ^_^

I just don't like sports for what they are. Maybe a few gymnastic excercises, but please no Soccer, Volleyball, Basketball or whatever.

I especially hate ball games ;)

BeefontheBone 15-01-2006 08:01 PM

Squash, probably, but I voted for badminton - those are the only two I've ever been anything other than utterly rubbish at. And pool, I guess...

Sebatianos 15-01-2006 08:03 PM

Oh, sports I'm good at... Darts, pool, chess, air-hockey, miniature golf (would those even clasify as sports)

allyfaucet 15-01-2006 08:14 PM

Winter sports (snowboarding, snowman making, snowball fights, snow angel making, skiing)

I like many others, too. Ultimate Frisbee, bowling, hockey. I'm not very good at any sports, but they're fun! :D

Now that's purely a spectator's sport...
:bleh:

Puffin 15-01-2006 08:21 PM

I didn't mention skiing and skating earlier..
I love both, but rarely get the chance to practice it. So I suck. A lot.

SirPeter 15-01-2006 09:07 PM

Auto Racing = fun to watch
Martial Arts = fun to watch when its extreme
Shooting = Always wanting to do that sometime
Tennis = Personal favorite to do and to watch
Volleyball = fun to do and fun to watch

LeD 15-01-2006 09:50 PM

Man Boxing is awesome, Guys beating the crap outta each other is fun to watch with or without beer. Betting on the winner is fun too.

TheGiantMidgit 15-01-2006 10:10 PM

Dude. Buzkashi. Most brutal national sport, ever.

http://www.jackgruber.com/stories/buzkashi.jpg

DeathDude 15-01-2006 10:22 PM

Hockey hands down, a sport that takes a lot of effort to be skilled, and well hey I live in Hockey Country can ya blame me. But also like Football, soccer and even air hockey, nothing like a good air hockey game oh yeah. :D

Himmler 15-01-2006 11:34 PM

winter sports...only because i'm in love with Winter :D

laiocfar 16-01-2006 04:48 AM

and what about ski?

Sameeralord 16-01-2006 05:29 AM

CRICKET :ok: All the way!!. I like other sports too but CRICKET stands out!! :ok:

Iron_Scarecrow 16-01-2006 05:39 AM

If you asked me a year or more ago I would probably have said Ten Pin Bowling. But I despise that game now.

Cricket and AFL only sports I really like.

vipin 16-01-2006 06:36 AM

for me Cricket rules!!! :D

Allen Drak 16-01-2006 10:41 AM

Soccer!!! :ok:
As a good german
As a good German ( ), i have to love it. LOL
No. For real, i love this Sport. How they shoot the Ball.
I play this Sport by my self. It's funny, to let the oposit Player just stand ther, wehn you dribeled him out. They get then very angry and do stupid things like a Foul or so, get a Red Card (in Germany we call it "behind Card", cause the Rafrie put it in his back Bag). LOL

Sameeralord 16-01-2006 10:55 AM

Shady Yashy 16-01-2006 10:56 AM

I voted cricket too. I'm in Sri Lanka and no harm in enjoyin it aint it? :D

Iron_Scarecrow 16-01-2006 12:45 PM

Did Jayasuriya retire?

If he did it's a shame he couldn't come to Australia one last time, loved watching him bat.

Himmler 16-01-2006 07:19 PM

oh i play alot of soccer at school...only it's too brutal to be called that way....what i see on tv looks nothing like what we play...i like better our soccer :D

Reup 16-01-2006 07:27 PM

I used to row quite a lot but not anymore...
Now I try to run once a week, play a game of squash now and then and recently starting practicing Kendo which is why i chose Martial Arts :ok:

TheGiantMidgit 16-01-2006 08:00 PM

http://www.czabe.com/backup/November%2016/bushkasi.htm

"THE EQUIPMENT: is a short raw hide whip which is usually held between their teeth when not in use to slash out at other players and their horses. It is a vicious weapon that will slice the skin open as easily as a scalpel."

"You see, there are no boundaries to the game. Because of this, there are times when the players completely disappear. I have known them to be gone for over an hour as they romped over the hills, cruised down the main street of town - totally destroying shops and their wares - trampled a poor farmer's crop, hurricaned an innocent bystander's house, and desolated an area the size of Maumee, Ohio."

Wow. What a great "sport".

SirPeter 16-01-2006 08:09 PM

Its a great sport Midgit.
(Dont want to 'promote violence' again) :P

TheGiantMidgit 16-01-2006 08:11 PM

Oh, it's not a promotion, I find the whole thing hilarious. I didn't think things like this happened outside of the freaking Dark Ages. ...but a whole national sport revolving around carcass dragging and murdering participants and spectators? Man...

Master MC 16-01-2006 09:17 PM

Not 'running' on the list? Does cricket, gold and boat racing outown running? I mean, it is one of the most (not to mention free!) practised sports in the world!
Luckily, badminton was on the list so I could vote for that one as well.

Bieningana 17-01-2006 12:09 PM

HOCKEY HOCKEY HOCKEY... but rather playing instead of watching. Maybe becouse Polish hockey teams are so rubbish ...

Shady Yashy 17-01-2006 07:03 PM

No Jayasuriya Didnt. He was dropped back by the Selectors because of his poor performances last few games.

But Sri Lanka dont need Jayasuriya to win the VB series. Already won against SA. Sri Lanka's back in the Game. :ok:

Pharaoh 17-01-2006 09:49 PM

Martial Arts!! Because you receive knowledge and wisdom...

With them, you can control your mind..

And we can live better....

Huau.... huahuahuahuahua :ok:

Farewell, my friends.... :bye:

Danny252 17-01-2006 09:50 PM

Humm.. I can't find the "I dont do sport" option...

punch999 18-01-2006 04:41 PM
