This is a long shot as I don't have a lot of info. I used to play a game about 15 years ago..it involved collecting keys, a scree slope and I am racking my brain for something else to go on!

If someone recognises the game from the scree slope - which has stuck in my mind please could you help me?

Thanks

scree slope? Specify!

scree slope - well, during part of the game a scree slope had to be navigated or climbed. I know it's not much to go on but really..that''s all I can remember...apart from the fact that I never managed to finish the game.

I think he asked what a scree slope is. I sure as hell don't.

I didn't know either, but with a little help from the OED:
"scree, n. A mass of detritus, forming a precipitous, stony slope upon a mountain-side. Also the material composing such a slope."

well...a scree slope is a pile of stones like a small mountain which slide away under foot. That was only part of the game though...the only part I can remember. I think there were keys and crystals involved somewhere along the line - I think I'll give up on the search until I can remember something which will help a little more!

at least now I know what a scree slope is!

Relentless, perhaps?

Keys and crystals make me think of the game called Solomons keys... but don't recall it for pc... played it on Commodore 128 :)

Hmm, was this a point and click adventure game? I remember in Dare to Dream 3 you had to find a key or two, and you had to make it up a slope of rocks that you couldn't climb up until you did....something... I don't remember any crystals though.

The scree slope bit sounds really familiar!

If it's the game I'm thinking of (I can't remember the name of either), it was a text based adventure. I think you started off near a (witches?) house and got inside by getting a key from the mailbox. Once you were inside there was an earthenware jug, some flypaper and some cereal, amongst other stuff you could collect.

Some other bits I remember were a wall covered in poison ivy that I never got past, a large oak tree at the top of the scree slope, and a forest clearing with a singing lark.

Just wish I could remember the name of it :(

I dunno, I don't think Seiklus was around 15 years ago.... great platformer though, took me a damn long time to complete.

:Brain: I LOVE Dare to Dream! Er, actually, I loved the first one. I haven't been able to get the second and third ones.
