Oh, I had that game when I was small. I always thought it was fairly lame, though (except for the dice animation). There is a way of skipping the animations (the one with the bird walking in, for example), but I'm afraid I've forgotten them.

I used to have an earlier version, seems almost identical to this one, but the bird was some sort of human with no legs, just shoes

The thing that kinnda bothers me here is that you can't really play on your own.

I really disliked that "Reveal Answer" bit. It always felt a bit as if the game didn't care whether you were honest or not...

EDIT - don't be offensive - no matter in what language!!!

Please try to write your posts in English. And unless I'm very much mistaken, this has nothing whatsoever to do with Trivial Pursuit Deluxe anyway.

Please, can some admin or mod remove the last post. It is offensive (I will not even bother to translate it) and it was for sure written by someone suffering from some sort of "insanity" :banned:

edit: Miss Raffles was faster than me... obviously I meant the post before hers.

Does anyone know where to get the other language-packages like German?

This game is obviously a UK version or something. Most of the questions are based upon knowledge of the UK such as royalty or the name of the soccer field in Liverpool. Also the statement of "you're not the brain of Britain are you?" also reveals that this game is geared towards people from the UK.

Nevertheless my wife and I play this game when she has got her hands full with the baby and I can just read her her questions or state her options without her having to look at the screen.

You can bypass all the slowness by right-clicking.

Hi.
I'm new to this sort of thing. Just downloaded TP and unzipped but how do I install the game?
:help:

Use DosBox to run it. That's all there is to that.

Too bad all the answers in the game are 'Yes'. All execept the middle one where you can choose your category.
