Hey, there's a DOS game I remember playing back when I was a kid...you played a guy, possibly some cyborg, aboard a Spaceship or something, and you had to shoot all kinds of robots. It was 2D-Sidescrolling, but you could also enter doors in the background to get to another room, I believe you had to step on a pad on the floor with a "P" on it to open a door...
Someone know this?

Hello!

Maybe Abuse ?

Bradley 03-10-2005 11:05 AM

Abuse is Abandonware, right?

HBoy 03-10-2005 12:00 PM

No its not Abuse. The game was controlled entirely by keyboard, and you could only aim left, right, and up.

I believe it had the word Final in the name, really not sure at all though, since none of my websearches led to anything...
And it must have been from before 1993...

Metroid?

Doesn't fit with the robot-enemies, though

Not Metroid either, you were aboard a vast spaceship (i think it was vast, but then i might not have gotten very far as a kid), and the enemies were all robots of different shape and size...

Nope, not Cybernator either. The guy you were playing had human shape afair, And the Cybernator Graphics are also way too good to be it. The graphics in the game must have looked more like in Metal Mutant...

kinda close actually, but no, its neither of the Turrican series. The enemies weren't all the big and alienlike, just uhm...robot automatons? And you were all the time aboard of that one Spaceship. And there was doors in the background you could enter by standing on a Tile with a "P" on it and hitting a button.

Now that i think about it...it MIGHT also have been on win 3.x...
