Lo there! :D

I've got that game (somewhere) in a box, and would like to see it on Abandonia. Any of the site folk aware of it? Any chance of it appearing?

Seem to remember it was good for DOS & Win95.

:bye:

Oops! Guess who should have read the stickey's first. It appears in the Old Warez List. Sorry bout that.

Conquered kingdoms is worth a look. I suppose it was a pre-cursor to Heroes of Might & Magic in some ways

camieabz 15-08-2005 07:20 PM

I don't suppose I could get a reply?

Doc Adrian 16-08-2005 01:54 AM

Sure I can give you a reply, glad you got your answer from the list...sorry that we aren't able to help ya. please feel free to converse and enjoy the boards and community :ok:

Looks like this thread is gonna get closed soon.

Gotta be careful what you link to, etc. Please check the Important announcements thread to make sure you don't accidently do anything stupid. Don't want to end up with a spam warning :D

Ooh, a request for closing!

Closed because game is on 'Old Warez' list.

*closing*

camieabz 16-08-2005 06:55 PM

Erm...The thread got closed because of..

Abandonia Oldwarezlist

It's marked as Abandonware.

Something wrong in what I posted?

Tom Henrik 16-08-2005 07:00 PM

No, you didn't do anything wrong. We just have a rash topic closer ;)

The game is abandoned, and reading your first topic... we would love it if you wanted to share the game with us :)

Is it with or without the scenario disk?

camieabz 16-08-2005 07:12 PM

If I can find it (I may have thrown it out, but I've just moved house so it's difficult to tell), it's without. Just the original game. Two FDDs iirc. Maybe 3.

I have no kit here to actually test it if I find it, unless Dosbox can run from a:

Oops, sorry if I led Danny to have the desire to kill. That just normally happens in that kind of situation.

camieabz 16-08-2005 07:19 PM

If I had a penny for every trigger happy mod I've encountered, I'd have ?4.63

:bleh:

Come again?

I don't understand abbriviations.

camieabz 16-08-2005 07:24 PM

Two floppy disks if I remember correctly. Maybe three.

Tom Henrik 16-08-2005 07:43 PM

Ah :)

Just copy the files over to your hardisk and make a zip for each floppy. That works. Of course... first you need to locate them ;)

And DOSBox supports the floppy station :ok:

blastradius14 16-08-2005 07:54 PM

Yup. That is how I play the Krynn Series :ok:

With d-fend you can customize each game to have "A:" to be the setup folder, though you could just do the mount stuff instead.

So dos-box can run it straight from the "floppy", the game has no idea that it isn't a floppy :sneaky:

camieabz 18-08-2005 07:22 PM

Well I found the disks. Disk one is unreadable.

Anyone got a floppy utility tool for getting the data off it?

GraveDigger 19-08-2005 05:49 PM

I have the iSO images (2HD) as well as the installed archive files and as a bonus: Scenerios Add-On.

camieabz 22-08-2005 08:25 PM

Ahhhh. Thank [insert choice word here] for that.

If it's any help I have the original gamebox, manual, and maps. :ok:
