I'm curious as to other people's experiences with relationships. Myself, I have never ONCE been broken up with. I'm not a jerk (although if the guy ends the relationship, the girls think ihe is a prick, but if the girl does she "did the right thing"...hmmmm) and don't break up simply because I have my eye on another girl, but I have always been the one to end the relationship. I'm sad to say, I have made a few girls cry...actually, everyone I broke up with because my relationships usually last a long time.
So yeah, are you usually broken up with? Or do you do the breaking up? |
Voted for the hermit thing, because it's funny, but usually I've been a dumper rather than a dumpee, and for entirely crappy reasons which I always regret later. Yay me!
|
Crappy reasons like these? :P
1)"Right, that's the second time in three months that you've worn blue socks with that red skirt. Enough is enough!" *dump* 2)"You put milk in your Earl Grey tea???" *dump* 3)" 'Humpty Dumpty sat on a wall...' - hey, that reminds me of something:" *dump* 4) "Your algorithms are all wrong. I'm frightfully sorry, old girl, but I can't possible date a bad mathematician." *dump* 5) "Heads I dump her, tails I don't dump her... heads." *dump* |
What a timing....
I never seem to get enough of girls... Maybe I'm not capable to commit myself to love someone, maybe they aren't good enough for me, maybe I'm just too weird. I usually dump them when I've had enough of trying to have something, which I usually don't... I have a terrible tendency to get to their core though, and leave my mark imprinted there, which is a thing that I should be flattered about, but that just scares the hell out of me, and makes me avoid to trust more and more people. Six months ago I was dumped for the first time. She said I was too dangerous for her, and even though she loved me she couldn't stay with me. Last week she came back with a boyfriend, now she refuses to talk to me because some feelings never fade. Weirdly enough, she left something behind too. |
I went for mutual as I seen incapable of pulling while at home/school. But I can manage it while away from home on holiday or something. Of course, the person I meet always lives in deepest, darkest Yorkshire, Milton Keynes or some other hellhole so we spend a little while doing the whole e-mailing thing before it falls to bits.
|
Yorkshire a hellhole? That would be a good enough reason to dump you :P Milk in Earl grey's pretty bad though...
|
Hmm, well the only reason that I have heard so far from either women or men (men for friendships only). is that I am a bad influence. Seriously I do not know how they reach that conclusion but I have heard it so many times the last few years that it puzzles me. Are they all nuts?
|
Well i'm an hermit, so i had not problem for voting this poll :D :bleh:
Seriously, like I writed in another topic i have The Curse that is keeping girls far from me, so ending relationship is not my problem :D  Anyway i think that is better ending with a common decision! |
Well, i vote for hermit :D , at the end we all leave alone
And for some reason i never end a relashionship, allways the dirty work did the other side :max: even if i want it to end or i don't and it desapointed me... But here i am with another one again :w00t: , it's doesn't mutter who end it, just live your short life :ok: |
I'm waiting for the "colour and consistence of your morning-dump"-poll now...
|
Ha...sooo many hermits on this forum. Oh well, it is what I should have expected from a forum full of gamers LOL
|
It's mutual. That's about it really, not much to say. A relationship ends when a relationship ends.

I guess "unvoluntary hermit" (if it was there) might apply to me, but I nulled my vote as there might still be some hope :bleh:
|
@ Danny
You play Flashpoint? I'm gutted that I lost my install code, or I'd love to have a game some day. Do you have all the mods like FDF and JAM etc.? @ Everyone who's on topic Here's my recommendation - Remember kids, you'll almost never keep a partner as a friend if you break up with them. Think First. Love later. |
I'm usually the one that dumps the girl. And usually it's because I get bored and never intended it to get too serious. Right now I'm in my longest relationship yet; it's lasted for 1.5 years and I don't feel like breaking up yet :Brain:
|
theres an install code? I just downloaded the thing off limewire.. took some tinkering but worked...
as did Deus Ex.. and I didnt even know there were mods! i have yet to complete the campaign as my sister fecked it up and sent it back to mission one. I was so far... so many deaths.. so many kills... so many kicks on the computer... and Im sort of an unvoluntary hermit too, to be ontopic |
Get Resistance or the one where you play as the commies. I prefered them to the original.
|
*turns on limewire*
now, anywho, back to the topic. I like my forum all clean and spangly.. |
I've been the dumper in most of my relationships...
Usually, it's after a long period of sucktasticness until I finally just say to myself, "Dammit, even God wouldn't have enough patience for this crap :tai: " and end it as amicably as possible. I think that's mainly because I am attracted to guys who don't actually seem to like me, hehe. More challenge, I suppose. My last boyfriend dumped me, however. This was about the fifth time though, and finally, I just was like... okay, get out of my face, even though, as usual, he came back a few days later <_< And yet, still friends with him. There's only a couple boyfriends I've had that I just can't stand, the rest, we can still hang out in friendly sort of way. |
