No, silly. Not flying in a plane; flying under your own power. Or telekinesis, for that matter. For some reason, the subject came up in conversation with my wife this past weekend. She doesn't recall ever doing either. I've done both. I can also recall the strong disappointment when I woke up, and realized I couldn't levitate objects. Damn, another good, useful talent gone missing. ;)
What about you? Ever had one or the other, or both, dreams? |
As a kid, I frequently dreamed I could hover (sometimes still do), just by thinking 'bout it (and one or two times boosted by clicking my heels together two times). I used it in nightmares to escape from monsters, turning the nightmares into Laugh-At-The-Earthbound-Silly-Monsters-Trying-To-Catch-You dreams. When I woke up, I could still clearly feel what to think (and how it felt) in order to fly, but could never get myself that far, which's a disappointment from time to time, especially as in my dreams, it went faster than going by bike, while it took less effort

Ofcourse, I have wanted to fly. Like Sektor even. :D
|
Still growing up :D :D

Who me? he he he... :D

When I was younger I used to dream I could fly, yes. I didn't wave my hands, I just used my mind. And those dreams felt so real!!
It's a bummer waking up and not being able to fly anymore :( |

I get flying dreams every now and then, although I usually can't fly per se, but rather can jump really high and really far. Almost the same thing, I guess. Just as useful, and just as disappointing when I wake up!

I had dreams about flying at least twice (two I remember, might have been more).
In the first, it was a really powerful ability with no limit to height etc, altough it needed a lot of sheer force of will to use. Now that I think of it, it was more like short-range teleportation rather then actual levitation. The other one was levitationm, and it was much, much less powerful. By the greatest effort of will I could lift myself at most half metre over the ground level. I remember quite well HOW I did that in the dream. The process didn't include an actual thought, spell or action, rather a very specific type of focusing my mind and state of mind, but I was never able to achieve this state and focus IRL. Now, why should I? That was only a dream... |
I said that in an old topic, anyway...
Yes! And i love it! Sometime during a dream i realize that i'm dreaming so i take control of the dream and i can do wathever i want... often i decide that i want to fly, so i start to going like Superman over the city :Brain: That's a wonderful sensation! :ok: |

I hate when I have a dream about falling.... :ranting: |
I don't remember dreaming flying or having any such powers. I do remember falling, from a high building usualy. The only thing remotely close to flying is running. I mean running very very fast but without actualy having my legs move quickly more like running in a slow motion and everything else passing by at extreme speeds. Which I am sure it is a big bonus in terms of saving money buying new clothes.

I dreamt that I was able to blow things up with my mind instead of just having plain telekinetic powers. As far as dreaming of flying , I don't even like flying in real life , so I would have to so ... no.

But it was always like if I could keep that feeling I get while jumping up (before starting to fall down) I could stay in the air. Kindda like taking longer and longer steps while under water and then starting to swim (not as easy to explain). |
I never get any interesting dreams. I always have the dreams where I'm doing something related to what I was doing recently, and for some reason it feels nightmarish. Sometimes I may also dream about playing games.
Although I do admit the ability to teleport short distances would be nice... |
I only dream about dung and dunghills.
If I Fly then only from a high rooftop to the ground :tease: :bye: :bye: |
