Oh yeah I remember this game, I played it before on the nes back in the day, never did get around to beating it though, ah well this is my second chances yes..

Man, i remember playing this game in the PC version... so tough!!!
Never beaten it, mainly because my copy somehow crashed: somewhere between the shopping mall and the amusement park stages, Bart animation would freeze, and though he could still move, the movement would be awkward.

I'll try this, and if this still happens :D i guess it is time to give a try to the NES version :whistle:

The game is cool, but NES version is much much better. This one has awful controls to me, but I'll try to complete it anyway :whistle:

Hey I can't play it... y run the game but I can't get it started... it aparece the main screen but then I can't do nothing, :angry: :blink:

you've got the copyprotection wrong, so the game will reload the main screen over and over. the copyprotection codes are found in the extras section at the game's review page.

how do you use the rockets cherry bombs and the phone outside of Moe's bar?

I cant load it!! I have downloaded the dos box and everything, and then it tells me that the VIDEO overlay cannot be found or something. HELP HELP!!

Yay, woo. I completed this on both the NES and the amiga. I loved it.

Brings back lots of memories, especially the shopping mall level, and fighting nelson at the end of the first level...and the balloons part at the circus.. and... oh hell the whole thing brings back memories

Hello I need some help. I can´t start the game. With DosBox it shows me "not enough...".
On starting the EXE in XP i only can typing the starting code and then i only got a black screen....

please help me, best in german...

Aw, this game is technically flawed but I just love it because it's about the Simpsons, about little Bartholomew. BUT at the second stage (mall) I cannot possibly manage to jump above the fresh cement from one moving platform to another, at all! They're just too far away. Is there something I'm doing wrong? Running before jumping doesn't help. Somebody who has actually passed that point, please.

Somebody help those guys above me, for God's sake! LOL Me got no problem, me run it under DOS 6.22.

i could never get pass the 1st bleedin level for some reason, id just reach a barrier at the end of the level :angry:

Right next to that barrier there was a skateboard if I remember right, if you take it you'll get past the barrier. The skating sequence is cool, but quite hard. It's better to bypass it with this trick (there's invisible spoiler text bellow, if you want to know about the trick without figuring it out by yourself then select the space bellow with the mouse):

There's a key in one of the shops. Buy it and use it in a house which seems private, not devoted to business (not a shop, tabern, etc.) and whose door has a keyhole. You'll get past the barrier without having to play the skating sequence if I don't remember wrong.

To select the different items you need to hold down the A button and press the space bar

Ahhhh, this game reminds of a my youth. Best game ever. I had the PC version when I was about 9, it contained a virus, and used to sometimes freeze at the end of level 2, and always somewhere on level 5.

Also, level 4 was my favourite, some crazy map making, hats off to the maker of this timeless game.

I alway failed the skating sequence I didn't know about that trick. I don't care, that single level was the best simpsons game ever.

umm... i enterd the page numbers correctly (i think) , the face disappeared and there was a blck screen . i left my PC for 10 minutes but the black screen hadnt gone. what is wrong?? pleasehelp

I would like to write a FUNDAMENTAL tip for Bart Vs. The Space Mutants (Ms-Dos version), a tip that even in the instruction booklet does not compare (my copy of the game, bought in 1991/1992, doesn't mention it clearly; also in other guides I have read on the internet, I have not found a clear explanation of it):

HOW TO USE THE INVENTORY ONLY WITH KEYBOARD COMMANDS, WITHOUT JOYSTICK, JOYPAD OR CONTROLLER.

if you press the letter A on the keyboard and (without leaving it) at the same time press the Spacebar several times, it's possible to browse the objects of the inventory (such as rockets, bombs, etc., provided that you have bought them in stores).
