Done

Thank you Capo for finally getting this up!

Underdog, I hope you will try Dragons Breath. Read the review to see how much I like it. Haha.

Spells from my last play through will be added in a few weeks when I get back from holiday.

I made a few for increasing the dragon stats, especially wisdom, but made a few recipes to account for deterioration caused as side effects of spell components.

Hmm, what did I do wrong? For me it worked when I posted the news...

Japo 22-09-2019 11:21 AM

IIRC the link is broken every time you edit the post, unless you select the game again. Maybe you did it right the first time, but got it broken afterwards if you edited something else. Or something like that, we have no shortage of bugs. :-) It was broken when I read Underdog's message and checked.

Smiling Spectre 23-09-2019 09:06 AM

Edited. Like, trice or more when found vague sentenced and mistypes. I didn't knew it needs the game each time. Will remember it.

Thank you so much, Capotain :poke: *salute* (not Japodeis :king: nor Paco :paco:!)! You really are the best! :rocks:  *salute*

Initially, I did not get a good impression of the game since the Screenshots on MobyGames were not impressive at all. *shrug*

However, reading the Reviews and looking at the Screenshots, I changed my opinion.

Ummm... :umm: I believe that better than any kind of cookie, Capotain :poke: *salute* would deserve an authentic Capoccino! That would surely be the best for him! :hungry:  Hmmmm... Yummy!

Wow!! Looks like you are a real fan of this game. Well, surely that is a great incentive for those who don not know the game yet. :OK:

cannot download Dragons Breath 19-11-2019 10:40 PM

Please help me. I have been trying for weeks to download this game and I keep getting the message: "
The file you wanted to download
does not exist :(

Try to Go Back to Abandonia.com and generate the download link again.

If you got this link from a friend, most certainly it won't work. Since the Download Code is time based.

If you believe this is rather WRONG, please report it with an Error Description through the Abandonia.com Contact Form.

We hope you don't get to see this message too many times.

Abandonia Crew"

I created this account just to ask for help for this problem.

Fixed. Thanks for reporting.

Some updater had updated the game title but forgot to do the same with the file name.

Whoever did it was a dumb move

MuzzyF8 20-11-2019 05:44 PM

I tried right now and Download dialog opened for me. Maybe you use some strange VPN and/or proxy. Other possibility - your antivirus blocking this zip for some reason. Very hard to say.

Edit:
Aaaaah... I didn't realize there was some answers already for that download problem. You can delete my comment. :D

Hey dude, did you get the download to work in the end? I hope so.

-----

Anyway, as i promised ages ago i have some recipes to pass on from my last play through. Still haven't beaten the game though, will have to play again soon.

My strategy was to raise the dragons' fighting ability rather than play arcade on the town combat scenes. That means Wisdom and strength. Wisdom determines how much damage they take when they conquer towns. Your dragon can die if you make it too zealous and it's not wise enough.

2 Rasgon
2 Halorus
1 Molmar
1 Arcus

(Refer to the alchemy booklet to see what treatments to give them, i stopped writing them down after a while.)

Above potion increases speed, strength and eyesight and gives a good bonus to wisdom.

Porbably the best potion until Rasgon runs out. And it will. Buy it when ever you can. If you attack a town that is at war with another town, hopefully their enemy will offer you alchemy ingredients as reward and hopefully they will have Rasgon.

Generally an alchemy reward will be worth more gold than the gold reward but the ingredients might not be as useful as gold.

2 Rasgon
1 Halorus
1 Molmar
1 Oregon
1 Smyte

Gives a boost to wisdom, speed and health and a bigger boost to eyesight.

Eyesight is (I assume) essential for finding the lost amulet parts but i'm unsure of the exact formula.

Jaluem and Ayhe can be used when Rasgon runs out but they aren't as powerful and bring in side effects.

A couple other points of note: Slow cooking eggs didn't seem to make a difference, though i never hatched one on the lowest heat, it takes a very long time. Would still like to check it out though.

Sitting a dragon on a town will mean you can tax them as high as you like and they have no choice but to pay. It's a good way to make money and the town may also grow larger. You may lose your dragon if you keep taxing too high for too long though. A hero comes to town.

I believe that if one of your towns becomes big enough to multiply you retain control of the new town too, though the memory is a little hazy.

Finally:
Bachim starts with the trader Onsum as his door. Onsum sells:
Acrus
Sals
Magian
Ceeocor
Olega
Irin
Jaluem

Ametrin starts with Yunon at his door and Yunon sells:
Churl
Snir
Cadoam
Smyte
Arolig
Yasin
Ayhe
Chife

Oureod start with no traders at her door but Frenze comes on the second turn and he sells:
Tius
Magoem
Halorus
Mionacal
Molmar
Arolig
Oreganse

There are five other traders and they all rotate through visiting all players. Losusa and Garent sell rasgon.

Next time i play i'll try a few other things.
