Anybody ever look at pictures taken with computer in background? lots of freaky things show up sometimes faces and other stuff. Just thought that was weird.
Um, you created the topic, how can you be off it? :P
I am sorry to announce you LeD that you post makes no sense and that I am completely confused on the meaning of it...
:D Its a little far-fetched to just bring up, LOL

I think it was just lines |
Yup, different frequency of monitors, probably. Hence the lines on computer screens when shown on television.
I only see one creep on the screen when taking picture of it..
My own: SHREK :eeeeeh: :eeeeeh: dus zaterdag gaat niet meer lukken nee (tenminste ik neem aan dat je gister bedoelde?) |
Quick translation for those that don't understand Dutch:
So saturday won't be possible anymore, no (at least I assume you meant yesterday?) Whatever that's got to mean :D |
Aikes...
There was supposed to be standing:  Just me...Just Wormpaul....Just a little angel  Not those stupid words that i was quoting in a e-mail of a friend of mine :wall: :wall: |
Copy-paste without rereading... happens to the best of us. Still remains hilarious each and every time :D
YUP, but this thread doesn't have any sense!!
NO you guys, I'm talking about GHOST! man i seen pic of one in my comp when it was turned off...Nevermind Sorry for this crappy topic, i'll leave it to the pros from now on
Well I saw many pictures of "ghosts" in TV screens but I think they were fake.
You've seen The Ring one time too many ;)
My aunt had an old screen, and it kinda froze.. so even though the computer was off, she could see the weatherforecast for 15th of June 1996 or something like that on the screen :bleh:
That's normal. Old screens would "print" on it's screen the image displayed if the same image was to be hold for too long. That's why screensavers been created in the first place.
The first screen saver ever was "Flying Toasters". ;) Quote:

Ah, now I understand!
Well, I heard a lot of stories about ghosts, including that one with tv or monitor! It sounds kinda creepy! :hairpull: |
And BTW I have amplifier for my guitar that works few seconds (actually some more) after I turn it off!
And my comp's a ghost. If I flip the switch down, the comp'll boot up but will turn off after a few seconds, unless I flip the switch up right after flipping it down. Spooky, and definitely's got nothing to do with the type of switch I chose

:eeeeeh: Its in PICTURES taken with a camera only. Two days ago a picture got taken of me in my room, Well it was when i got home from work, and i was headed to my computer (as usual) they snapped pic of me and got it developed next day, well there is like an old mans face with is mouth slightly opened in my monitor, no static or nothin, freaked me out... :eeeeeh:
There is a lot of logical explanations for this LeD. The random static could be one.
The human eye rarely see static because it happen too fast, but it happen like every second. For a static to be visible, you need a lot of it. And even then it's dodgy at best to see it unless it's very dark. A good example; take a video camera and record a TV or monitor. When you'll make it play again, you'll see a lot of "random" horizontal lines on your monitor. You might wonder what's the problem of your camera, but in fact there always been those lines on your tv or monitor. The answer lies in the fact your eye can't catch such a fast movement and you get the illusion it's not there. Another easy example: look at something. Then move your hand in front of your angle of vision so you hide the object, partially or completely. Then move your hand very fast from side to side. What will happen is that you will see "thru" your hand the object you were looking at first, even tough you do know that you hand is still there and did not magically disapear or become invisible. Your eye is simply too slow to catch the full motion of your hand and you get the illusion you can see behind it. |
I know the lines you all are speaking of...But it cannot display those lines if it is OFF...no power, turned off completely, you'd have to see the picture to see what i was talking about, there ain't no lines, its an old mans face that isn't here or never has been!! its as clear as crystal. if i get a scanner i'll attach the file :eeeeeh:
How 'bout uploading a scan of the picture! Then we all know what you're talking about. I'm pretty curious by now!
EDIT: Ow, you don't have a scanner.. Too bad. |
Why do tv screens and monitors make those odd clicking sounds at night, you know like they crack??(I know this doesn't have anything to do with gosts but still...)
they use electricity(duh) and so that sound is the electricity inside it coming off. switch off your monitor to hear it.
Still in the middle of the night...
Anyway I never had any paranormal experiences and I would like to keep it that way. |
Tulac: that's what static is all about. ;)
Yeah I know now , I thought it would be either that or cooling of the monitor circuits that make that sound.
Yes, in older tvs,a small amount of power is stored in it even after it has been shut off for 20 years, nowadays none is stored for safety, fire issues :/ There are similiar pictures I speak of on a website...But you'll have to find it yerselfs, cuz i don't think i can post other kinds of links in my topic can I?

Yeah, I know. It's when you have a switch that doesn't automatically turns itself off ;) The motherboard only needs a quick spark between the two pins the switch is connected to. Another spark'll make it turn the comp off. If you keep the switch on, it'll keep giving these sparks, thus switching it off after a few seconds.
