I just finished watching HELLSING fifth time, and want something similar.
From searches I stumbled upon gungrave and trigun. Simply wich one is better. I will get both, but wich one first. Any Hellsing fan around |
Iīve actually seen only a few episodes of gungrave,
but it seemed to be more close to Hellsing than Trigun ever was /- Trigun is mostly comedy as Iīve it watched, a little drawback in the seriousness /- "Anime reviews" - Noir was also an intriguing one, And might be something youīd find of intrest from what I saw of the few first episodes /- |
They say that Alucard looks like Vash the Stampede, maybe thats only thing that is similar.
Noir looks good, but i like powerfull characters like Alucard, and Noir looks realistic wich is good but now I would like something unrealistic like I said before "Alucard". |
Well basically Vash The Stampede,
is truly skilled with his gun, but nowdays heīs pacifist /- Itīs comedy all the way in fact, even the fighting scenes when Vash runs around (I mean it, runs around) doing unexpected things, and thus almost by luck he succees in winning his enemies/ And of Gungrave, I believe I might have remembered wrong, And this might have been only misleading scene from the pilot episode, http://www.lock-heart.net/screens/gungrave...ve_screen_1.jpg Not anywhere near sure though /- And of Noir, Two powerfully skilled agents against the odds, But not anything quite like Hellsing /- Helsing was quite original, now wasnīt it, And the lead to Dracula (Alucard <-- I /- gave it quite different feel, when taking a note of the fact that it was Anime/- |
hellsing rocks altought it has only 12 episodes
|
And final fantasy unlimited really sucks
|
I think there is 13 episodes, but it's still not enough
|
No mather the last is where Alucard reveals his real identity and kills that guy (what was his name again?)
|
Incognito
|
Good thing about Hellsing is that they give a lot of information about weapons and their ammunition.
Any other anime like that? |
Oh boy, the otaku nonsense comes to this forum. I thought I was free! But nooo... LOL
I can't in good conscience recommend any anime, nor do I have any urge to do so. However, I can recommend a handful of manga. Lone Wolf and Cub is an absolute classic. It's to samurai manga what Lord of the Rings is to the fantasy genre, or what Seven Samurai is to movies. A fallen samurai assassin and his child travel, looking for vengeance and honour. I also like Blade of the Immortal. A crazed swordsman kept alive by worms inside of him. That alone should get you motivated. Akira. Read Akira. Now. It doesn't matter if you've seen the film. Read Akira. Lastly, there's supposed to be a Hellboy anime being made. According to what the company that's making it says (I looked it up, it's called Gonzo) it is anime only in terms of who's producing it and the production quality. It is also an adaption of the comics, not the movie. I am looking forward to it, actually. |
If gonzo is making it i must be good, they made Hellsing.
I was looking for some gun action anime, I dont say that samurai-sword action is not good I just want something like Hellsing now. |
Liked Helsing?
Others recommended These /- |
battle angel alita (gunmu) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0107061
vampire hunter d vampire hunter d- bloodlust (much better) ghost in the shell (yeah everyone has seen it ;) 3x3 eyes legend of the 4 kings thats all i can think of for now. battle angel alita rocks. |
Watched both D's, is witch hunter robin beter then berserk?
|
Witch Hunter Robin is excellent,
(characters, athmosphere, enviroment) but canīt compare since havenīt seen berserk /- But again, in style it isnīt fully compareable to Hellsing, eventhough it might be even better /- |
