Citadel [NON-PC]
 

there was an old game...i played it about the same time as KQ5 so maybe that was about the time it came out....but it could've been older. it was called Citadel, it had a picture of a woman/gypsy?/witch? on the front over a crystal ball i think. it came with a spin-table-kinda-thing (LOL) that was a code you had to enter before you could play the game. i didnt play it much so i dont remember it...but it was a great game and my brother asked me about it the other day.

Since you played it, can you add any detail about actual gameplay? No offense meant, but all you've detailed are the box art and the play key. Was it an adventure, strategy, RPG...? If an RPG, was it multiparty? What was the setting, etc?

:cry: idk...i only played it a few times. ill call my brother or my dad and ask one of them about it. im pretty sure it was an rpg...but again, im not too sure.

Indeed. We need detail. Put yourself in our place: somebody appears who courteously asks for help in finding a game title, but all they tell you is that 1) it's an RPG, 2) with some box art they describe, and 3) a key entry they describe. How well would you be able to help them? :D

LOL i can see where youre coming from :wall: ...but i didnt play it that much...my brother asked me to find it. i know it wasnt fp...fairly certain it was before the whole doom era. i dont think it was top-down....but that would just be a guess...ill call my dad sometime today and ask him what he remembers about it....(i just remembered...my dad has always used mac so it was probably on his apple iv, maybe....but it might have been on pc too :tomato: )

ok i just looked over the reviews & such and realized i played the game all the time!!! :roflol: wow now i feel bad....i had just thought the game play i was thinking of might be that game....LOL. anyway anybody that liked old rpgs....this one was definately the best! i would definately suggest going and getting a mac emulator to play this game.

tha screen shot was a picture of the decoder and im guessing they dont want u to get it??? take a look at what the developer wrote in the readme file: "This game is not free. It took a while for me to write it and a lot of time to test it on people. If you can find it in your small and black heart to send me some cash please do. Otherwise burn in H*LL. But I Will Still Forgive You." and "Feel free to distribute this. If you send Money{$10} I will send you a collection of fine games including PORNO} Thanx -Jeff"

anyway i spent all day finding a mac emulator and roms for the diff versions and i cant download the f***ing file! i have to have the mac config of the SQL to get it...and i cant get the internet to work on the mac emulator. :wall:
