Jazz Jackrabbit 2 - Holiday Hare 98

Hi, I've got all the Jazz Jackrabbit 2 versions, and I was wondering it were OK to upload one or more of them.

I have:
A better version of Jazz Jackrabbit 2
Holiday Hare '98
The Secret Files
The Christmas Chronicles

verek_22 01-06-2008 11:45 AM

Well, Jazz Jackrabbit 2 is not ESA protected, but these other ones might be, I'm not sure.

The Fifth Horseman 01-06-2008 05:37 PM

I think a request for some of them was evaluated a few months back... you might want to search up that one.

bobinator1992 02-06-2008 03:33 AM

I searched in the request forum, but the only request I found were for the first one.

I don't know how to verify it, but here they still sold all nine episodes:
http://www.epicclassics.com/orderform.html

TheChosen 02-06-2008 11:55 AM

However, Jazz 2 is available for download in here, but its seems to be a beta version, as it doesnt have online-play options, the demo episode or the level editor.

Can we get better version?

bobinator1992 03-06-2008 04:23 PM

I already know the the first one is protected. What I'm offering is all the versions of the second one.

If it's OK, I'll put the better version on the FTP, and could somebody please check if the others are OK for this site?

Dave 03-06-2008 09:48 PM

Sorry, my fault, let me check them better, I'll let you know.

Holiday Hare is sold at Amazon.

I haven't found buy links for:
The Secret Files
The Christmas Chronicles

Edit: bad news, Jazz Jackrabbit 2 is sold:

CDAccess Link1.
CDAccess Link2.
Amazon.

bobinator1992 20-06-2008 07:20 PM

Aw, really? Does that mean we have to get rid of the link to our current version?
Oh well.

legalmumbojumbo 25-06-2008 01:50 AM

The one you have is crap and unpatchable. I too have all the versions except for Jazz Jackrabbit 1 which I threw away . There still exists a large commmunity for Jazz who have come up with at least one community patch 1.25 . Epic however does not support it and refuses to give up the source code.

Um, I might be wrong but Jazz 2 secret files isn't on Epic Classics and I can't find it anywhere being sold, would you be able to put that up?

Isn't it also on site? Or is that an expansion?

EDIT: Oh, I see. Separate episodes.

Jazz Jackrabbit 2 - The Secret Files is in the ISO Cellar.

arete 03-08-2009 03:31 PM

Okay, tks.

_r.u.s.s. 03-08-2009 09:51 PM

Uber Dowzen 03-08-2009 10:21 PM

Ok, really confused...

the Jazz 2 files on 4shared are *all* the files you need (so i need to download all of them)? And that's secret files right?

I don't think there's any secret to the 4shared files. Just download them and you'll be playing in no time :p.

Yeah but I'm on dial up so it will take forever :wall:

Uber Dowzen 04-08-2009 04:20 AM

In fact I was completely right.

Won't be able to download this because my download manager won't let me resume it.

Don't mean to pester, but could this go up on Abandonia properly. PLEEZE!!! :omg:

arete 04-08-2009 07:09 AM

Aargh. The fact it's in needing reviews means we need a review in order to put it up. With screenshots, preferably.

[grumpy]And most of the people who request games around here aren't into writing reviews for them. [/grumpy]

Uber Dowzen 04-08-2009 09:10 AM

I'd write a review.

And I could take screenshots too.

but this topic is in needing archives, not needing reviews. why?

Uber Dowzen 04-08-2009 09:47 AM

Anyway surely hardly any games would get posted if you need reviews and screenshots first. Why not just post it with some screens of jazz 2 and put up the jazz 2 review and replace them later?

arete 04-08-2009 09:57 AM

I'm not actually sure which jazz jackrabbit 2 game we're talking about, but not moving it to Needing Reviews was my oversight, sry.

Because one is on site, one is in the ISO cellar... Urgh. It's confusing.

Luchsen 04-08-2009 02:01 PM

It's in Needing Archives because we don't have archives for all games this thread is about.

And we don't post The Secret Files on main site just with the main game's stuff because:
1) it is wrong
2) we then could as well abandon reviews and screenshots completely
3) it would never be replaced by true content later

Uber Dowzen 04-08-2009 10:27 PM

arete, we're talking about Jazz Jackrabbit 2: The Secret Files. Just look up Jazz 2 on wikipedia and scroll down.

If JJ2 secret files is posted on abandonia's ftp (but not on the site) i could download and review it.
