The Fifth Horseman 31-07-2007 11:11 AM

You forgot about SNAFU and several (hundred) others.

There is a comprehensive site with a list of acronyms here.

Lulu_Jane 31-07-2007 11:17 AM

Just in case all these acronyms inspire anybody:

Here is the game.

Dave 31-07-2007 11:20 AM

And what about OMG ZERG RUSH! LOL

The Fifth Horseman 31-07-2007 11:49 AM

It's not an acronym. :P

Lulu_Jane 31-07-2007 11:55 AM

Great list you have there, vipin.

NOT a mistake, as u may think it is.... "wat the *meep*" has become "wat *meep* the" - a simple dyslexic joke. :)

Do not try to get around the censor - it is there for a reason - Danny252

I like how there are two definitions for FTW depending on what generation you're from.

_r.u.s.s. 05-08-2007 10:07 AM

Lulu_Jane 05-08-2007 11:22 AM

My "geek" generation was simply the ability to decipher the standard (at the time) computer terms!

ASCII, RAM, ROM, PROM, EPROM, EEPROM, HTTP, Gate, JK-Flipflop, Tick, BIOS, DAC, ADC, Flash, Parity Bit, Modem, Bootstrap, Register, Sector, Track, DOS...

If you slipped "byte" into a conversation you got beaten up :(
