ASAP is also military term, not geek.
tl;dr
Just kidding :D That's an incredibly comprehensive list you have there. |
You forgot about SNAFU and several (hundred) others.
There is a comprehensive site with a list of acronyms here. |
And what about OMG ZERG RUSH! LOL
It's not an acronym. :P
It's one third acronym ;)
OMGWTFPWNDDAIRYQUEENBBQ is my favourite
wtf ks! or, wtf ff!
plus a few more. |
what the hell is the FluffyFellow?
ASAP, AWOL, SNAFU, FUBAR, all of those are military terms.
Great list you have there, vipin. |
Hey there's one every1 knws as WTF
but if i say it 2 u, i write WFT NOT a mistake, as u may think it is.... "wat the *meep*" has become "wat *meep* the" - a simple dyslexic joke. :) Do not try to get around the censor - it is there for a reason - Danny252 |
I like how there are two definitions for FTW depending on what generation you're from.
you mean teen generation and flawless testosterone war?
Naturally :P
SK8R = skater
WYS = whatever you say only ones I can think of that aren't on there  |
My "geek" generation was simply the ability to decipher the standard (at the time) computer terms!
ASCII, RAM, ROM, PROM, EPROM, EEPROM, HTTP, Gate, JK-Flipflop, Tick, BIOS, DAC, ADC, Flash, Parity Bit, Modem, Bootstrap, Register, Sector, Track, DOS... If you slipped "byte" into a conversation you got beaten up :( |
