Hello guys, wow this is an awesome sight! I'm 35 & alot of these were out by the time I was 20! Anyway this sight is awesome did I say that? I found Masters of Magic & when it came out I never got a chance to purchase it but a buddy of mine had it & i was over there playing all the time ( that is when he wasn't hogging the computer! :bleh: ). If I could make a suggestion on the DOS emulator tutorial, there are a few flaws with it that make it somewhat unclear. For instance when instructing you to make folders in the very beginning, there are actually two different examples for the main directory. DOS & DOSbox. This caused me a few hours of consternation until I realized what was up but after that it went pretty smooth :D. Ok I'm slow in catching on, so what I'm old! Overall though the tutorial was a good one. Anyway I'm looking forward to talking to some of you.

He means the tutorial on the main site. My tutorial didn't use those dirnames.

_r.u.s.s. 03-08-2007 02:41 PM

yeah i meant the main site, i thought admins can modify it

The Fifth Horseman 03-08-2007 03:28 PM

Only those which have updater access.

Sebatianos 03-08-2007 05:45 PM

Unfortunately not. As an updator I haven't got the acces to that, so I couldn't correct it if I could. It's a completely different pannel. I imagine it's something similar to what the translator's use (as a translator I can change the Slovene text of that toutorial).

I'm really not sure who apart from Kosta could have that acces (I guess Data used to have it, but I think he gave it up).

Anyway - welcome to the site doktorhook :ok: (are you by any chance from a Slavic country?)

 I've been told the updaters all have it.
I'm nearly sure all the other admins can access it, and AFAIK _some_ of the updaters also do.

Tulac 06-08-2007 11:20 AM

I can't access that either, it's not a part of updaters panel for sure.
