Some of long-term members might recall that back before the upgrade, Abandonia's avatar pool worked so that when a person has uploaded an avatar and later ceased using it, that image would automatically move to the public avatar pool.

It seems however, that after the upgrade this feature is gone.
So... what are your thoughts on this? Do you think it should be returned to the forum or not?

Hum, wouldn't that require a "lot" of disk space to save all the "once used - now not used" avatars?
Just by myself I remember having used about half a dozen avatars, or maybe more, after that "avatar of the week" topics.
That pool would be huge, wouldn't it? (well at least I think so :whistling: )
Maybe the "prettiest" could be somehow "choose" and added...

Well, the first question to ask would be "Is it possible?" - I dunno.

What? I don't want some common mongrel masquerading around with my beautiful avatars that I upload. I'm glad this feature is gone.

What if we could upload our avatars to the public pool manually? That way clingy folks could keep theirs, and us more liberal types would be able to share.
