What a pity! Probably your Mom didn't realize how valuable the 'oldies' are. I don't blame her. That's what I used to do 20-25 years ago. But then until recently you could get them, download or exchange :byesad:

I still own KQ6, on cd, with voices. I feel MUCH more satisfied with going to the underworld instead of dressing as a maiden. No cross-dressing horses OR princes for me :)

Thornwood 26-11-2005 06:11 PM

Yeah, I remember trying to beat the game through cross-dressing, especially Alexander's gloriously cheesy "Yes. I mean *squeakily high voice* yes sir." Ah, the memories. *sigh*

LOL, it was NOT a good look for him ;)

Hey Concerned Citizen,

... Did you ever fix that "7425.v56 not found" problem?

Or does anyone else know how to fix it?

:wall:

Are you using Dosbox or VDMSound? As far as I know this game will only work using these two dos emulators but not with XP. I'm playing KQ 6 in dosbox at the moment and really enjoying it. Both the previous programs can be downloaded here onsite. Go to the front page for the links. There's also a tute on how to set up dosbox.

NOOO I actually have the original game I can't get it to run and I have downloaded DOS box... Can anyone here help me to get MY GAME to work! I am not Downloading it from this site...

Thanks :OK:

No idea how to run it on anything other than the ol' 3.1, sorry.

I was playing the music from the game while I was surfing the 'net yesterday. I'd forgotten just how wonderful some of it is. Listening to it again took me back years, and there were times that I forgot it was electronic music. I had a few problems playing it when I uploaded bigger sites, but as the whole file is about three hours long, it comes as no surprise. The wedding music at the end's really cheesy though. But yeah, great music overall, and I highly recommend it.
