No good, aniero? Dash and darn. Do you have XP? Is your CD drive working normally? I'll look back over the thread and see if I can see something to help. In the meantime, if someone can suggest a possible answer, please do.

Aniero, are you executing 'main.exe' This is the only exe that will start the game. I read the following in a previous discussion with someone who was also having problems with CD drive messages:

1. Get Dosbox
2. go to Profile Setup Wizard, make a profile for Malcom's Revenge
3. when you get to the mounting part, click on auto-create, then click on add
4. in this window, set mount type to CD-ROM, then set the path to your Malcom's Revenge folder

click OK

then run the game

yes, Im useing XP and yes my CD-ROM is acting normally. I have DosBox but what is this Profile Setup Wizard?

Never used dosbox. But I think you had to run a setup.exe type program to set the options for soundcard, etc. Perhaps this is what he's referring to.

To allocate more extended memory make sure you have the program unzipped, and in its own seperate folder. Right click on the launch file click properties, select memory, and change both the extended memory amount things to auto. The game runs fine when you do that.
