Ok, we're going in. I'm off to an all day Band rehersal where I will play four mallet marimba until my fingers split open and palms bleed, then I will put on duct tape, and continue playing w00t! Don't do TOO much with out me...I might be able to see what's going on in this thread using the band room computer on breaks :sneaky: Just have me blow the crap out of a bunch of aliens, and maybe save Piggy's life so he will give me a hug. |

You'll just have to wait for a killing spree to get a free spot in ;) |
and please take into consideration that SupSuper is kind enough to spend lots of time each day not only playing the game and reporting on it for our amusement, but also to screenshot and update everyone's stats and such.
Complaining really only ruins the fun, and I'm sure he's trying to get everyone involved to the best of his ability. |

I don't really mind the complaints, I understand everyone wants their piece in the action. And the previous game I started (like this one, only in a different forum) was much more work than this, since it reached 4 threads (signup, game, stores, discussion), 4 skyrangers, 80 soldiers, each soldier had their own choice of stats (with limits) and equipment, 461 screenshots and 318 videos (yes at one time I even recorded videos of what happened each turn). By September 1999 (in-game) I realized half of the members were inactive, I couldn't keep track of everyone anymore, all the mission reports were getting plain repetitive and, well, members were simply no longer interested in it and all the work just wasn't worth it anymore  so I just decided to end it. I'll link you to it once their servers aren't down. Therefore, I'm doing this one with all that in mind, keeping work to a minimium and fun to a maximium and hoping that this game will be finished on Cydonia :) Before starting the large UFO mission I'd just like to inform that I've managed to give everyone assigned to a craft "a piece of the action" (so the only rookies are the unassigned), I've also added stats for the ressurected soldiers I forgot about and... well, here's a pic of my workplace if you're all interested (or not): http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y237/sups...a/abandonia.jpg |
Mission 19: Large landed UFO-31
Skyranger-1, daytime Upon arrival, BeefontheBone immediatly spots a sectoid in the darkness of a barn up front and kills it with his heavy plasma. Horseman heads out first though, and finds a sectoid on the middle of some grass, which he zaps in a second. - Can't you read? Don't step on the grass! http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y23...sion19_000.png OvErLoRd, Jacek and Quintopotere head out and scout the nearby area. *next turn* DeathDude spots a sectoid moving in the nearby barn and reaction fires at it. http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y23...sion19_001.png Another sectoid is seen going to check on his dead brother. - <Hey, what happened to you?> - <Urgh...> - <Stomach sickness eh? I know how that is.> http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y23...sion19_002.png |
