I'd love to play newer games - ie UT2K4 and a few others - but the machine I've got here is a puny Celeron 400 with 128 MB RAM and an 8 MB GPU. One could say that's pretty limited.

Danny252, get WinQuake. That's what I am using and runs very well both on 9x and XP.

and BTW lets make new quake date since horseman didnt join us and new users now know how to solve the problem,
i want aslo want to ask if theres option to "allways mouse look" in quake 1, becouse now set mouse look on shift key and keep running around with shift pressed all the time


so next time should be friday, lots of ppl get rid of their duties on fridays you know..

Huh? whats with me and quake? when did I say anything about quake?

idk when i'll be able to play next time..there's something approaching and i must be prepared.
i saw that in q1 u can't have the mouselook without the press of a button so i binded click 2 :D(right click)

And personally I use FuhQuake to play Q1 on XP: http://www.fuhquake.net/

Also, games I can play... well, any game that works on multiplayer LAN: AoE1/2(+xp), AoM/TT, C&C/RA2/YR/Gn/ZH, Q1/2/3, UT2004, BFV/2, CivN/2Gold, Doom1/2/Her (with Doomsday), WH40K:DOW, TTD/Loc, Magic, NS, SC/BW, UFO2000, XC4, Soldat, TM/TMN, WA/WWP, DK1/2, WC1/3/FT, DX, etc.
