if you didnt read that in the game review yet, there seems to be no point in repeating it here, or is there

Says the game won't work in Full Screen mode. When I click on the Main application, I get an error message saying, once again, the game won't run in full screen.

Use DOSBox.

I did. But every time I try to mount the drive it says Drive C does not exist- you must mount it first.

You're either not mounting it right or using a wrong command.
The command you used to mount it, please. Exact syntax.

MOUNT C C:\Users\McGee\Desktop\Abandonware\adcivi

What does DOSBox report when you enter this line?
If you entered a correct directory, you should receive a response
Drive C is mounted as local directory C:\Users\McGee\Desktop\Abandonware\adcivi\

Are you certain a directory of that exact name and path exists on your machine?

Any way to run Advanced Civ on Windows 7?

I can run Advanced Civilization on my Windows XP but I've had no luck getting it to run on Windows 7. Has anyone gotten it to work on Win 7? Any helpful hints to share?

I downloaded DosBOX and got it working pretty quickly on Windows 7. It even has sound, which was not working on XP!

I found this much too easy compared to the board game it imitates. The trouble is the computer is very predictable in its trade offers, making it easy to gain a big advantage in trade over the computer opponents.

Those of you who think the disasters are a random mechanic are probably not familiar with the board game. The occurence of disasters is quite predictable, if you understand how they are generated by trade cards.
