I'd just like to apologize for the sort of lull in updates the past week or so. The slow server has really put a hamper on being able to update the site in a timely manner. What used to take a maximum of ten minutes or so now takes a half hour or longer. Hopefully this will all be over soon though and we can treat you all to a nice plethora of entertainment. :ok:

I thought it was just my computer going nuts! My yahoo mail is freaking out now and then too along with other sites I visit. I have not been on the forum for a while not because of speed but because I have been working my Ying Yang off! The old geezer is still here, fear not!
Oh by the way I have a suggestion if it is possible. How about a spell checker? Not super important but it would be nice. ^_^

BTW: Has Abandonia installed any kind of security systems lately?

I wouldn't be too excited about it Lulu, the speed has always depended on the time of the day during the whole attack. It seems to go faster early in the morning (GMT) because there are fewer people online. (Hush, don't tell anyone, it's a secret. ;) )

Don't worry about the updates too much, Realmus and rest of the crew, as you said this is temporary and there's little use in offering downloads that won't work until this is fixed.

Don't want to put the mockers on it, but here in London it's 11.30am and the thread loaded normally! (ie almost immediately!) Maybe on New Years Day, 11.30am is still early! (I have been up half an hour! LOL!)

Anyway, let's hope it's a wonderful New Year's present from Abandonia!

It is still slow for me download I recently got broadband but I am now going around 3ks instead of 30ks

The website's terribly slow on my computer.

I can't download Betrayal at Krondor since yesterday.

It's taking longer to fix than I thought, and the lack of information from Anandonia is disturbing....!

I guess no new information just means the problem remains the same and unsolved. There is nothing AB can do about this, but they seem to be working on getting AB to a new server if I'm not mistaking.

Anyway: AB seems a bit faster now, no reloading of pages has to be a good thing :)
