Yes, it was HOH. :)

First computer game I ever played was on Spectrum. (excluding coin-ops)

Is it Wonder boy in Monster Land (or some other Wonderboy)

EDIT: Can be Adventure Island, as that's simillar game - made by the same programmer team. There was a law suit about that game.

no wonderboy. but looks like it. in this game you need to kill a specific monster to get a scroll. with 2 scrolls you reach the next lvl.

It was (at least) made for Amstrad CPC and C64

but thats enough help for now.

and mind : it is NOT a spectrum game ! (at least I don't know if it was ported from spectrum)

omg 28-07-2005 10:13 PM

this is maybe stupid.. is it one of the james pond games?

swiss 29-07-2005 10:53 AM

nope.

ok, another hint. Programmed by "Laurens Van Der Donk" and released 1990.

now come on ... it's EASY ... BTW there was no PC port of this game ....

omg 29-07-2005 11:52 AM

i cheated and googled it :-(

It does not matter if you cheated.

Please post the answer, and continue with the game.

yes it does! you can go and find out what the game is if you want, but you shouldn't spoil it for the others.

There are only 2 ways I will get the name of that game:

1 - If I played it, I might know the name.

2 - Use web.

It will not spoil the game, and we have to recognize someones effort to get the name even with google. ;)

swiss 29-07-2005 06:21 PM

it's 172 kb and if u google at google.de it's the first hit ....

so get this piece of cake and let's go on ...

huh, I didn't expect this being sooo difficult ...
