Three sectoids guarding the surrounding area fire at SailorMars, though they all miss.
Abi79 and Tom Henrik spot two of them from the other side of the base and kill them.
Tom Henrik doesn't actually hit the second one, he just managed to hit an alien device which explodes and somehow that explosion kills the second one :blink:

SailorMars stands guard outside the main entrance, waiting for an alien to leave, while Aristharus enters through a hole made by Tom, therefore trapping them.

Toxik finds some kind of weird cloning room.

Sectoid leaves control room and fires at SailorMars, missing all shots. SailorMars fires back and misses all but one shot, but still doesn't kill it. Sectoid goes back inside as nothing happened.

Aristharus is fired by unknown alien and misses all but one shot, but still doesn't kill him.

Sectoid comes out of room and fires at Doubler, missing all shots. Doubler fires back, missing all shots. Sectoid goes back in the room.

Unknown alien on dark corner fires at Eagle of Fire, missing all shots.

Aristharus is under alien control, but misses and hits the first mentioned sectoid instead! Sectoid still doesn't die!

Eagle of Fire is still being fired at by an unknown alien.

Aristharus is fired at again, and under alien control again.
He fires 6 shots at Abi69, who's just 2 squares away from him, and yet misses them all! :blink:
I don't know how he did it, but I'm glad he did it. Maybe it's his mind fighting the alien control :P

Eagle of Fire finds his stalker and kills it.

(Apart from me of course, who stratetigally took out an alien and at the same time blasting through a wall, so that we could ambush the enemy... :whistle:

Fawfulhasfury zaps an alien found on a room in the second floor.

The alien leader goes berserk and fires his blaster launcher at the upper floor of the control room, blowing up all the aliens up there, as well as most of the control equipment.

With all aliens dead, the alien base starts a self-destruct sequence.
- Run to the Skyranger!
Everybody runs for their lives as the base comes apart around them. They get up into the access lifts and enter the Skyranger. As the craft takes off and away, they can see a white blast come out of the ground where the lift was, as the base disappears in a huge flash.

(ok so the base doesn't really go boom, otherwise we wouldn't recover anything, but it sounds cooler :P )

- Excellent job men. Not a single loss, not even one wounded, on such a hard mission. Keep it up!
