This is due to the fact that it isn't an official channel. With the endorsement from the site and the admins it would gain a whole lot more visitors, and it would function as an excellent part of the community.

There's been a whole lot of discussion about this in the past, and so far nothing has happened. Pity.

how great it might be to have an official abandonia chatroom, i believe that this will never happen, sad but true.. this is the 5 or 6 thread about abandonia chat.. and nothing happend so far... though hosting an channel doesn't have be expensive, you can host a channel at efnet for e.x. and after u register the channel you get 2 or 3 bots from the server into ur channel wich will op/deop kick on bad words ... and more..

i think like you timpsi for a official chat room and yes a great chat room will make a great publicity for abandonia...but the question is what the admin are waiting for? :blink:

I agree, but still, you cannot just click a couple buttons and have a chatroom, although it was pretty easy for me to set up my IRC SERVER, not just channel, but SERVER!!!!!!!
