If there is one thing that turns me off some forums, it's the size of avatars and sigs. Places such as the colplay forums don't have such a limit, and so most of the pics there get AdBlocked because they literally do take up half the screen. I think the rules here are quite reasonable, and you can easily fit what you need to in a sig pic the appropriate size.

there aren't any sig rules here (actually, there aren't any rules there so to speak) but not everyone abuses that (most people have text only sigs there) why? they have more pressing issues (like slagging off other forum members and exposing inexperienced newbies to hell)

You have 7 lines, 8 if you count the break, yours does break the rules :P
