No it's ok, I moved your message here :)
You did it correctly but your message can't stay inside Metal Gear topic ;)

If I get this correctly eugene quoted my post from this thread and replied into the Metal Gear thread....

Which means the technique was correct, yet the implementation went a bit in a not wanted direction. :perv:
A better test would have been to use the specified "multiquote" button on a post in the MGS thread and the AddReply button in this thread. ^_^

In general, the playstation1/2 was a completely different MGS2. And that's not what MG.:OK:
That correct?

The actual quote isn't important. The ability to edit a last post by oneself is. :)
*@eugene: do not reply yet, but report in CB that you have seen this. ;)

You won Eugene :)

-----^ This quote has been added after an edit. ^_^
Note that it's showing both the username that's quoted And the arrow that allows for directing to the actual message. :)

I've seen and understood that the difference is that I have a link, and you open the message.:sneaky:

Now I'm gonna ask you 1 last thing. :)

This is still in concern of editing your own posts in an attempt to prevent double posting.
(although post positions would allow otherwise ^_^ )

The test is:

1) Use the "Reply with quote" button (http://img411.imageshack.us/img411/1654/attachmentw.png) on this post.
2) Instead of posting, you select all text in "Message:" field.
( from [quote to /quote] )
3) And copy it with Ctrl+C
4) Go back to the thread. (So no posting yet)
5) Edit you last post. (the one ABOVE this one, where you've seen and understood the difference :) )
6) Paste the quote at the end of your post with Ctrl+V
7) Finish editing the the post above THIS post. :)

All is easy.

Moving the thread to the Forum's Trash Can.
The lessons have been learned and if needed, this topic can be viewed for additional advise on the matter discussed here. :)
