Ok. SO i found a copy of the CD version on the net. It is in .bin and .cue format.
But when I install it, it says there isn't a disc when i have the image mounted in Daemon tools.

Mount it directly in dosbox as D: pointing to the .cue
syntax:
imgmount d "x:\path\name.cue" -t iso

It's probably best to delete the old game folder and reinstall the game IN dosbox.

my drive is f....virtual drive is G.
i have been using those commands...but cant seem to get it worked out.

ah ok. So I got it mounted.

Run the setup program to install the game first (usual names are INSTALL or SETUP).

Ok, i got it to work on my desktop. I have to disable my D drive, and mount the image under a virtual D drive.

Just like i remember it. But for some reason...I just cant get the character to run! double tapping. Walking then release and press again...spazzing out. None seem to work =/
Also. the voices are great =)

You don't need to disable drives if you use imgmount in dosbox.
*sigh*

I tried that. Just didnt seem to want to work on my laptop.
i guess that the image needs to be on the D: drive. My D: drive on here is a HD partition.

No, really not. I even have some image files on my USB key, and that's drive K:
Important is to always mount the image as D, nothing to see which the drive it's stored on.
Next: Install the game IN dosbox from D: on C:

Really, drive letters mounted in dosbox have nothing to see with drive letters under Windows.

Dosraider is correct.
I've been there - mounting the F:\dosgames directory as DOSBox' C: drive, mounting part of it as DOSBox' C drive, mounting my E: drive as DOSBox' D: drive and so on...

about the bug in game..

some couple of pages before, someone was talking about throwing the oil-lamp bug, i am having the same here; put the talisman, lit the lamp, throw it and nothing happens. Can't tell how many times I tried. Well after some digging; I crossed a google group (usenet I suppose) about people talking about the issue at 1993!! Man they must be about 50 right now :hypno: They say no reason at all.. just a bug. Not a relief that I had; but at least I am not alone !!
Check the link:
