Just an idea, but it wasn't Time Bandit by Microdeal was it?

That has all sorts of questions and text-questy bits in it...

Edit: Sorry, I didn't see that you already found it...

I can help you with Amiga emulation though...

http://www.winuae.net/ - Amiga Emulator

You'll need to download a Kickstart ROM for it, but they're easily found on Google.

Amiga is a console type thing like N64, PSX, GBA and the like. An emulator emulates that in a computer screen making it playable on PC. Emlators take a lot of RAM FYI.

* 1.* To strive to equal or excel, especially through imitation: an older pupil whose accomplishments and style I emulated.
* 2. To compete with successfully; approach or attain equality with.
* 3. Computer Science. To imitate the function of (another system), as by modifications to hardware or software that allow the imitating system to accept the same data, execute the same programs, and achieve the same results as the imitated system.

A ROM meaning Read-Only-Memory. ROMs are games that are run through the emlator. e.g I run N64emu.exe and then Open a ROM like n64game.zip. A zip file contains a cartridge/disc data file. You can get certain hardware for you computer to mke ROMs. But are most definatley hard to find because it is semi-illegal.

Hope that cleared it up for ya. :ok:

Not entirely correct. Amiga was a home-computer, today's PCs-like and not a console like Nintendo & Co.
And Amiga's operating system and games mostly ran from a floppy disk, although later systems had HD's, too. Rom-modules were only used in C64 but not in Amiga anymore.
Here more info (all in German, though): Homecomputermuseum
