Hmm, I bought Lighthouse, but I never got past the safe in the house, no matter how I put in the code and no matter how many walkthroughs I tried. Game bug?

I also bought Lighthouse, but I haven't gotten around to playing yet...

How much did you pay?
Cause if it was more than 10 bucks you wasted your cash. :D

Just joking, but it's one of their "less" good games. [/b][/quote]
I paid around €3 for it so

Lighthouse was pretty good IMO, Myst like loneliness...

But LSL is my all time favourite from Sierra...(except magna cum laude ofcourse)

A. J. Raffles 09-11-2005 09:59 PM

Myst-like? In that case MdaG'll love it.;)

I didn't like it that much, but I must admit it was VERY creepy, especially the beggining, right in the middle of the night.

Well it's weird overall all like that girl with no legs and all those mechanical constructs, it definetly has a special mood to it...

I really can't vote since I'm tyed between the Gabriel Knight series and the Laura Bow games. :P

I do wish they'd re-release both Phantasmagorias to work on the NT kernel. While the original worked fine for me I know plenty of folks that had issues with it, and though I haven't tried since I switched to 2000 I know Phantasmagoria 2 doesn't work on XP unless you jump through tons of hoops. :S

I voted for QFG series and shocked to know that very few voted for that, where as it was so popular that even the last KQ game looked like a QFG game.

Quest for Glory has been, is, and will forever remain my favorite

I think I paid full price. Then again, it's not the first time I end up paying good money for a bad game. But it's my parents' money, so meh :bleh:
