James Bond: The Stealth Affair
This is the upgraded US release version of Operation Stealth.
Operation Stealth is the first version of the game, and was released in Europe, later it was upgraded and released in the US as James Bond: Stealth Affair.
Stealth Affair is the better version of the two games. Most people think that the only difference in Stealth Affair from Operation Stealth is the change in names from John Glames to James Bond. But also the game's arcade sequences were changed. Instead of the four mazes in the maze section at the palace, there are only two mazes and the layouts are changed to make it easier. Also the rat tunnel maze latter in the game also has been change so that there are only two mazes instead of four. So that makes the maze arcade sequences easier to get past in Stealth Affair, which is a major complaint about Operation Stealth. Also in Stealth Affair the game's dialog and text has been cleaned up in spots fixing some of translation errors that were in the original Operation Stealth. Also you can click past text in cut scenes, instead of having to wait for it to change without being able to click past it in the original Operation Stealth.
The were two versions of Stealth Affair released a 16 color version and a 256 color version. I have yet to find a 100% working copy of James Bond: Stealth Affair 256 color version yet. I'd love to see a 100% working copy of James Bond: Stealth Affair on Abandonia!
I've played through Operation Stealth in DOSbox and was able to complete it. The two copies that I've found online of James Bond Stealth affair don't work 100% - one crashes at the bank when you go to get the envelope, and the other copy crashes in the cut scene where the rebel's truck is going into the palace at night.
