Re the IP thing, if they're logged in at school they very likely DO have the same IP.

He's a guy from my Computing class who thought it would be funny to try and imitate me in order to get me into trouble. That explains the IP thing.

Ban the member and delete the posts and things but please don't ban my school's IP (if you see him post with the account from his home though, it's probably worth banning that).

Glad that's sorted that out, I'll give the guy a slap next time I see him, even if imitation is the most sincere form of flattery.

Why don't talk to the teacher in charge of the class that guy belongs to and tell him what he tried to do?
Which is why this is used only in extreme cases.
And there are ways to circumvent IP-bans.

That would involve admitting to my techer that I'd been on the forums instead of working. There would be no actual punishment, but AB would almost certainly be filtered from the school internet, and I really hate messing around with proxies.
