No no my friend you can save soon as you get to Level 3, thereafter at the start of every new level. A word of warning DO NOT save in the middle of a level because if load it you'll always start at beginning of that level thus losing valuable time :(.

good luck! why don't you try prince 4d (i'ts the same version but the levels:1,2,3,4,5 and 6 are so much harder then the normal ones)(you must be an expert to do them)

[size=5]DON´T USE MEGAHIT, DON´T USE SAVE OPTION (and dont avoid fighting and complete every single level in the way they should be completed :-) )!!!!

[size=2]It destroys this cool game, Prince 1 is pretty simple, just spend some time with it and try to find the right way.
Megahit is good for training in difficult levels (8 and 9 for instance) but not for real playing!

The most difficult part is the place you have to kill the green guard in Level 8.
I trust the guy who finished the game in 30 minutes, it´s possible, if you avoid fighting where it´s possible, if you avoid whole level 7, if you are jumping instead of running where it´s possible and you´ve got whole game in memory, you can reach the end very quickly. But who wants that? :-)

I found another bug-when you fight your shadow and you give up the fight (DOWN), sometimes the opponent contiunues in fighting and kills you. Very stupid when you finish all the previous levels in perfect way and want to reach good time. It made me angry many times.

Are you running it in DOSBox? If not, give it a try.

Whether you playing in DOS command or in DOSBox the action is the same. JUST DON'T FIGHT, THE MOMENT YOU AND THE SHADOW DRAW YOUR SWORDS - PUT YOURS AWAY - AND IT'LL DO THE SAME. Then you two can merge thereby increasing your power/strength and enabling you to fight the Evil Vizier.

Dear friends I've one problem

After kill all guards of the eigth level you need to open one door pass two steel teeths to open the door to the next level, but I can't go as quick as I should to prevent the first door to close. is there any trick that I don't know or I need to be very quick? Because I have a problem with the steel teeth... What should I do?
