If you really have no idea what I'm talking about, you probably better forget the bootdisk idea. It simply was something that was used a lot with ME/W2K to overcome problems with plain dos programs. That or 'dualboot'. See, ME has Dos onboard, but it ain't 100% compatible with the ol'MSdos. (Mainly memory management problems). |

cant believe that this game its still being played !!! iv played the 1 2 3 ween i whaz 4 to 8 years old ( the 1 scared me like the devil him self!!) the 2 is the one i preferred cuz iv finished it 4 or 5 times and its less spooky (i loved it) the 3 i never really gotten anywhere in the game... only jumping throw the chapters but always got stuck (well still got to the ending video) well started playing the 1 again to finish it after 15 years and it still gives me the shivers all throw my body :unsure: :tai: i was soo addicted to this game that i still remember Manny things what to do, but couldn't remember how to kill the swordsman and i cant remember how to open the door in the library, cuz i know there's the knife to kill the thing :titan: ... and were is the dance hall again !? BEST GAME EVER !!!!!!! :brain: Solo |
"Swordsman"? I remember reading that a "knight" is unkillable, perhaps? that's the same one

Well i finished it now :) awesome !!
Well I'm in withe the full trilogy and started to play the 2 now i know why is less creepy then the 1 ... the music is so cool there's like a christmas, pirate and different styles of music .. even the green men says hello before they try to kill you LOL ! If anyone wants help withe the 2 ask me anything ! |

So I've been in love with this game for years and years now. I think the atmosphere along with the story is perfect for playing in the dark hours and creeping myself out. I've never encountered much that can spook me, but this game has always been able to do just that.
My problem, though, is that I no longer have the manual for the game. After 11 moves across the country over the past 16 years are to blame. I think it ended up getting dumped with my old TANDY computer which I used to play it on years ago. Anyway, earlier in this thread there was mention of downloading the manual, but the option doesn't seem to show up for me in the "Extras" section for the game. Is the manual still available? |
