IIRC, both of these can be found adventuring, if you are persistent enough.

Yeah, you can get the katana for free from one of chests. Getting the armor for free is trickier though (I won't spoil it), and you're probably better off just buying it yourself so you can use it earlier on. By the time you can get it, you'll probably be rolling in cash anyways.

And the defeating the war god is pretty much the crowning achievement of a fighter/mage, so don't be surprised if you don't beat him right away. Just remember that defense>>>>offense , and make note of what kind of attack he uses, then train accordingly. Once you do manage to beat him though, you'll wonder how he ever gave you any trouble in the first place ("Your silk armor softens the blow! Sylvia takes 1 damage!" XD)

If any at all. If she's trained competently and her defense is high she'll often just avoid his blows and he hits her only rarely. Of course, she still needs to have good constitution when he does hit her, so working at that farmer is a must.

Just what are you discussing, guys? Beating that wargod is extremely simple in fact. Becoming Archbishop without cheats is much more difficult :tai:

Extremely simple once you know how. Before that he'll beat craps out of you and you hit him maybe one time without much effect. Unless you're such a type who knows everything from the beginning on and creates a gozu elite super fighting machine of a daughter.

And frankly, that'd be boring as hell.

And to be honest, I really don't see how Archibishop is all that complicated.

How do I get my relationship with Cube up? I've tried working with him... or is it just random? (I want Devat and him to get hitched)

Well, I've been playing this game for like 1,5 years now and whenever I try to make my daughter an Archbishop (following all the requirements and stuff) - she ALWAYS ends up becoming a NUN.

I managed to acquire all other endings and, probably, all grades of success (yes, I'm that much freak) of them, so that's a huge issue for me... :angry: :angry: :angry:

Hmmm. Ways to get your relationship up with Cube:

When you're defeated on adventures (especially by bandits), and Cube comes rescue you, the relationship goes up. Also, when you're out on adventure, if you have Cube bring you weapons, the score goes up a little bit. If Cube takes care of your daughter when she's sick, the relationship goes up. There may be other ways to make her close to Cube, but I'm really not sure what.

I have NO idea how to make her marry you. I've played the game a couple times through, and ended with a 100 relationship... and all the time when I'd talk to her she'd be all, "I want to marry you!" but then she'd marry a knight or wizard or whatever.

As far as the weight thing... that's just... I don't know. A cultural thing? She'll fit in the dresses eventually if you give her the ancient milk, one of the slimmer diets, and take her to the beach in the summer.

Sometimes it's fun to see how thin you can get her. I got her to 57lbs once. Heh.

Well... ur relationship has to be 100% AND u've got to nurse her through illness (that's when there is "rest" and u stay at home) at least ONCE. Plus any other special marryings (except marrying Cube I think) are considered to be a better outcome, so ur daughter has to be on bad terms with prince and dat pesky lil' drako.

That's fairly easy too... Now, can anybody finally tell me how to make my daughter Archbishop??? :angel: Please...
