I had 2 as well (Spybot and ad-aware)
I have a pretty god virus protection.
I also I dont go on many suspicous sites and never download from them.
It really does help a lot.

I ever scan for viruse (exept in the rare cases where my computer acts weirdly)

My computer could use an ad-aware scan though.

use Hitman Pro for scanning for spy/ad/mal-ware! It takes a while to finish, but does a hell of a lot of scanning!
