I don't know...
When I first joined abandonia, there was a new birthday thread for Indie...
I guessed it's just a regular thing and most of the regular members got their thread.
These threads do sink really fast, so I guess there's no real harm in them, but they are fun and show people that their birthday was rememberd (except for Kosta's... he deleted the notice it's his birthday... - BTW it's on 18th of January... The thread is still there  ).

I think

1) The threads should stay. Its always fun to see someone out there took the time to make a silly thread for you, but...

2) people should stop making threads for members who are never (or barely) active!

Same as stroggy. I like the birthday threads.

I'm for H-B threads.

Another vote for keeping B-Day threads. :ok:

keep the birthday threads alive! :D

Save the birthday threads, where else will I get my cake from?

I too am for keeping them, because I feel it is always nice to see a thread just for you! If we made a sticky b-day thread, or just PM-ed them, it wouldn't feel as special. They sink after about a day or two, so they really don't clutter, and I think they are one of the main reasons why this board has such a friendly atmosphere.

I think the birthday threads are nice. Everyone comes out with the :Brain: and the :band: and the :happybday: and the  and the

It's so nice of everyone. :D

And as previously said, its a thread just for you!

I don't mind birthday threads, but only for people that're active here and have proven themselves as part of the community, one way or another. Thought that was what the previous discussion's result was, too.
