What a fantastic game. The graphics are great, the sound effects work well, and I'm even learning a few things about a "sport" I don't care much for. I can see myself getting addicted to this one.

So, what about Pinehurst? Does anybody have it and would care to contribute?
By the way, there seem to exist some more courses I didn't know of (Wikipedia lists them http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Links_%28computer_game%29): Prairie Dunes Cog Hill Riviera Pelican Hill Valderrama Oakland Hills Valhalla Confgressional Country Club Does anybody have them? |
Awesome, thanks for the extra courses. Those are so hard to find.

Can't add Links 386 Pro to favorites
I don't know if this is the right place for it, but: I can't add Links 386 Pro to my favorites. Well, I can add it and even remove it, but it just won't show on my favorites site :( With every other game it works.
Does anybody know who could help? |
I finally managed to find the Pinehurst course. I put it on FTP, so let's hope someone updates the site, soon. The other above mentioned courses are still missing.

I'd say that with this, Abandonia is the only site featuring a full collection of official Links 386 Pro courses (according to MobyGames: http://www.mobygames.com/game-group/...ffset,0/so,1d/), including even Torrey Pines from the original Links. |

For now I have uploaded the course separately, since the bug will take more time than expected to be fixed.

I found another course, the Riviera Country Club! It's up on FTP and waiting to be put on site.
Now we still have these courses missing: Praerie Dunes (can be found on the 5-Course Library Vol. 1) Cog Hill (can be found on the 5-Course Library Vol. 2) Pelican Hill (can be found on the 5-Course Library Vol. 2) Oakland Hills (can be found on the 5-Course Library Vol. 4) Valderrama Valhalla Congressional Maybe there are even more, it's kind of complicated with the courses since not all of them have been released seperately for Links or Links 386, but for Links LS (and seem to work with Links 386, too) or on various compilations. Some of these seem to be available at Underground Gamer, so if anyone has an account there, maybe he can get them. I'll keep looking myself, but these are really hard to find. |
