You can play the game.
Data figured out a way. Go to the DosBox config file, and set the machine as CGA. It runs. Looks like crap, but runs.

dont forget you can play the original arcade versions of gauntlet and gauntlet 2 using MAME

What is that?

MAME is an arcade machine emulator, apparently

As a matter of fact it is, and may I say that the graphics are far more superior on the MAME versions :)

Either that or download it for SNES or Sega and use emulators :)
