As for the stereotype female gamer, of course there are female players in brutal games such as cs, ut2004 etc. There were lots of female gamers in diablo for instance. but i really expected them in ragnarok as well... (mainly due to the Uni-Sex gameplay. your main char could be female and there were even jobs for females too. <- note that i do not imply that females couldn't become monster hunters or knights. :whistling: ) Anyway, there are still too many people that think that female gamers "act female" in any game... i think that those who do will find themselves pwnd before too long by Ilse the Unsatiable. (pm for details.) |
well, the percentage does seem a bit high, but then again i know many girls that are gamers too...
and yeah, the sims saying was right, i guess :D also, maybe the girls play console games more. with how fast the console market is growing, it doesn't seem all that impossible... |
That sounds logical...
*doom voice* or maybe it's a conspiracy to lure our female gamers to the world of the xbox and doom them to serve microsoft forever!!!!! EDIT: Ignore the upper part please... my stupid brother tends to mess around when i'm gone. 'tis quite funny though.. |
However I myself think The Sims is a great game, no matter that women play it more... It's really addictive at least up to the point where you've got the top job and all.

Anyway I don't play online so I don't know. I played CS once and I owned the veterans a couple of times hehe... At first they took shotguns, I took a machine gun... Owned :sneaky: |
